CHR: Extension of martial law in Mindanao, not necessary

President Rodrigo Duterte is still studying the proposal to extend the implementation of martial law in Mindanao for another year, according to Malacañang.

But for the Commission on Human Rights, placing the region under the military rule is no longer necessary.
