Bureau of Customs to debut on UNTV Cup against GSIS on Sep. 11

On Sunday, Bureau of Customs basketball team BOC Transformers will go head to head with GSIS Furies on the first game of the triple-header at Pasig City Sports Complex.

The BOC Transformers, as personally supported by Customs Commissioner Nicanor Faeldon, aims not just to participate but to win as part of the bureau’s campaign of transforming its image to the public.

The playing Customs employees and executive will be led by former PBA players Kenneth Duremdes (playing coach), Marlou “The Skyscraper” Aquino, Gherome Ejercito and Bernzon Franco (from Ombudsman Graftbusters).

Former Malacañang Patriots Forward Samuel Ignacio will also debut on Transformers.

Meanwhile on the GSIS Furies, the team’s consistent contributors Rene Boy Banzali, Romer Diaz, Dennis Bunyi will still be in charge along with the help of the newcomers: 6 ft 5 in. center Anthony Cuevas from MBL, Stephen Mopera and James Patrick Abugan.

Also on the roster of GSIS basketball teams are four executive officials such as Robert Vergara, Eduardo Fernandez, Romeo De Luna Jr. and Leopoldo Casio Jr. aside from the employees from different offices.

Game 3: HOR Solons vs DOJ Justice Boosters @ 5:30PM
