One-stop shop at the Big Dome: public services at UNTV Cup Season 7 Finals
Posted on: March 12th, 2019
The crowd at the Big Dome wasted no time availing the various public services offered by government agencies on Monday during the finals of UNTV Cup Season 7.
It was a convenient opportunity to avail of identification cards or documents from the Social Security System (SSS), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), PhilPost, Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) and PhilHealth.
“Nagsama samanapoanggobyerno de ahensyanatumulongposaatingmgakababayan, alamponatinna kapos posilasakakayanannapumuntasamga government agencies [Government agencies joined together to help our fellowmen. We know these people don’t have much to go directly to government agencies],” according to one of the beneficiaries of the one-stop public service.
The UNTV Cup partnered with these government agencies to provide public service to people.
According to Daniel Razon, the man behind the league of public servants, this public service is open to everyone and it is a part of the advocacy of Members Church of God International (MCGI).
“Mula nang magpasimula ang UNTV Cup ay kasama po natin ang atin pong mga kapatid sa Church of God International na sumusuporta sa atin, sa pangunguna ni Bro. Eli Soriano na laging nasa likod ng lahat ng ating public services [Since we started UNTV Cup, the Members of Church of God International has always been there to support us, with the guidance of Bro. Eli Soriano who is always behind all of our public service],” he said.
Bro. Eli Soriano, the overall servant of MCGI, is the main supporter and inspiration in forming the UNTV Cup.
Kaya para makasunod po kami sa Dios na iyon, iyon po ang aming ginagawa umiisip kami ng paraan, how can we reach out [Our aim is to follow God. If there some of you who don’t believe in God, that’s okay. If you have a different belief, that is also okay. We cannot force you. Now, the God that we believe in, as stated in the Bible, teaches us to love your neighbor as you love yourself. So for us to be able to follow the word of God, we come up with ways on how we can reach out],” Bro. Eli said.
This public service will continue through the coming seasons of UNTV Cup. —Aileen Cerrudo (with reports from Nel Maribojoc)
