3:30pm  —  Ombudsman vs Judiciary
5pm  —  DOJ vs Malacañang
Venue: Pasig City Sports Center

Judiciary Magis and Ombudsman Graft Busters are both gunning to maintain their top 2 spot to advance to the off-season playoffs.

But only one of them gets to keep the post to gain the twice to beat advantage in the playoffs, forcing the two teams to outdo each other in this Sunday’s second game at 3:30pm.

Ombudsman plans to use its run and gun game tactic against Judiciary which, in turn, will depend on its big men to outmaneuver the Graft Busters.

“Gagawin namin defense all the way. Medyo mabibilis yung mga guard nila doon kaya kailangan namin ma-stop mga yun… medyo may height advantage kami sa kanila. Nadiyan sila Atty. Jo, Dindo Sevilla, Joey Yabut, [Judge Manuel Gerard] Tomacruz and Judge Ian Ramoso,” Coach Warren Ybañez said.

(We will execute defense all the way, their guards are very fast so we need to stop them. We have the height advantage like Atty. Jo, Dindo Sevilla, Joey Yabut, , [Judge Manuel Gerard] Tomacruz and Judge Ian Ramoso.)

Meanwhile, GSIS Thunder Furies and AFP Cavaliers are set to clash in the first game at 2pm while the main game at 5pm will feature the Malacañang-PSC Kamao and the DOJ Justice Boosters.

Special Assistant to the President Christopher ‘Bong’ Go vows to go all out to clinch their third straight victory.

“We will give out best shot on our last two games para sa team… sana maging maganda pa ang aming teamwork at sana patuloy ang swerte at tsamba ko,” SAP Bong Go said.

(We will give our best shot on our last two games for the team. I hope we will have better teamwork and to continue my lucky strikes and our winning streak.) — BERNARD DADIS |UNTV News & Rescue
