UNTV Cup Season 6 slate

On February 4, 2018, at the Pasig City Sports Center another explosive and tough UNTV Cup Sunday games are expected as the quarterfinals start.

Malacañang-PSC Kamao (7-3) and Senate Defenders (7-3) are both on twice-to-beat advantage while the former champions Judiciary Magis (6-4) and PNP Responders (6-4) are in a day-to-day survival mode.

On the first game of the double-header, the Senate Defenders will try to send the PNP Responders to vacation in the middle of the season while the policemen will try to stay alive for another day.

The Defenders will be led by ballers/legislators Sen. Sonny Angara and Sen. Joel Villanueva together with Jeffry Sanders, Garri Sevilla, and Marlon Legaspi while on the Responders, former MVP Ollan Omiping, Harold Sta. Cruz and Anton Tolentino are expected to take charge.

On the second game, UNTV Cup Season 3 championship rivalry will be relieved as the former two-time champions Judiciary Magis will face the former two-time first runner-up Malacañang-PSC Kamao. Should the Magis lose in this game, the Kamao will outrightly advance to the semifinals.

The Judiciary basketball club will be spearheaded by Justice Midas Marquez together with former professional players Don Camaso, Chester Tolomia, and Warren Ybañez while the president’s men will be led by Christian Luanzon and Eric Dela Cuesta.

The survivors of the quarterfinals will face the waiting NHA and AFP for the semifinal round of the League of the Public Servants, UNTV Cup. — UNTV New Media
