CALOOCAN CITY, Philippines — With the aim of providing its students their academic and extracurricular needs, the administration of La Verdad Christian School and College (LVCC) added quality facilities this school year.
“For this school year, we will be able to experience the completion of the development of the building because we will have an additional floor that can be used for our classrooms, computer laboratory and library apart from the gymnasium which is another floor,” LVCC Caloocan Administrator Johna Bautista said.
With the new gymnasium, students of LVCC Caloocan will now have their own venue for sports activities.
Meanwhile, the most-awaited auditorium of La Verdad Pampanga is targeted to be fully-operational this school year.
The facility can accommodate more than a thousand people.
The auditorium costs around P50 million but will be available for free use of La Verdad Scholars.
The La Verdad Apalit Auditorium will be used for school’s major events as well as for watching educational films, documentaries and student productions.
“The auditorium, a project of Kuya Daniel, will be the most beautiful auditorium in Pampanga so far when completed,” LVCS Apalit Administrator Luzviminda Cruz, Ph. D said.
In fact, this is being awaited by the regional office of CHED, TESDA, and DepEd. They are already inquiring for its completion because they also want to use the auditorium.”
Apart from this, LVCS Apalit also constructed 13 additional classrooms for the opening of grade 12 this year.
Each of the classrooms is equipped with a television as a learning tool.
Among the facilities that are available for free to the scholars are science laboratories, health care simulation room, international cookery laboratory, libraries and many more.
Almost three thousand scholars this year under the free education program of brother Eli Soriano and kuya Daniel Razon will benefit from the said facilities. – Leslie Longboen | UNTV News and Rescue
