MANILA, Philippines — Maynilad Water Services on Tuesday evening (November 17) advised its customers to prepare for a 7-day intermittent water service from November 18 to 24.

In an advisory, the firm said high turbidity in raw water caused the sludge or mud to build up in its basins.

Maynilad said it has to treat poor quality water first hence the need for a longer service interruption period.

The firm asks its customers to store enough water supply while water tankers are deployed in affected areas to deliver clean drinking water.

Maynilad reminds customers to constantly check its Twitter account for the list of affected areas.
