PSA: Civil registration outlets in Metro Manila, other services suspended during ECQ
MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) on Thursday announced it will implement measures in compliance with the guidelines on the imposition of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in Metro Manila from August 6 to 20.
In an advisory, the PSA said that all its Civil Registration System (CRS) outlets in Metro Manila will be closed for the entire duration of the ECQ.
The said CRS outlets are located in East Avenue in Quezon City, Caloocan City, Makati, Muntinlupa, Pasay, Pasig and Valenzuela City.
The application for PSA-issued documents through Batch Request Entry Query System (BREQS) at local government units and SM Business Centers in Metro Manila will also be unavailable for the entire duration of the ECQ, the agency said.
The PSA also encouraged those requesting for copy issuance and authentication of civil registry documents to file their applications online through www.psaserbilis.com.ph or psahelpline.ph.
Civil registry documents include birth, marriage, and death certificates, as well as Certification of No Marriage Record (CENOMAR)/Advisory on Marriages (CEMAR).
“Please be reminded that the delivery of documents to certain areas may take longer than scheduled,” the PSA said.
Customers who were issued a queue ticket number or given an appointment via e-mail or telephone with schedules falling on the ECQ period are advised that their appointment shall be rescheduled accordingly upon lifting of the ECQ.
“A separate advisory will be released on your new appointment. Please keep your QTNs for reference,” the PSA said.
