MANILA, Philippines — There is an 18-point decrease in the net satisfaction rating of President Rodrigo Duterte based on the Third Quarter 2017 Social Weather Survey results released last Sunday.
It means, there is a decrease in the number of Filipinos satisfied with how the president runs the country.
From 66% or “very good” net satisfaction rating last June 2017, it went down to 48% or “good” net satisfaction rating this month of September.
The survey was conducted among 1,500 respondents in the whole country from September 23-27.
The president’s net satisfaction rating went down in Visayas, Luzon and Metro Manila but remained high in Mindanao.
Aside from this, there is also a decrease in the net rating of the chief executive or the number of Filipinos who trust his leadership.
From 75% last June, it’s now down to 60% or “very good” trust rating.
The public trust rating of President Duterte was high for five consecutive quarters of his presidency before declining during the month of September.
SWS clarified that the said survey was not commissioned but a part of the survey firm’s initiative for public service. — UNTV News & Rescue
