PH receives 1.5 million more Sinovac doses
MANILA, Philippines — The country’s COVID-19 vaccine supply bulked up some more with the arrival of another 1.5 million doses of Sinovac vaccine from China on Thursday (June 17).
On board Cebu Pacific flight that landed at around 7:00 a.m. at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), the latest shipment is the third batch of China-made vaccines delivered to the Philippines this June.
According to a post by the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO), 500,000 of the newly arrived doses were procured by the Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
On June 24, another one million doses of Sinovac vaccine will arrive as confirmed by vaccine czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr.
