Oil prices to go up Tuesday

MANILA, Philippines – Prices of petroleum products will go up this week according to the announcement of oil companies.

In separate advisories, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and Chevron Philippines Inc. (CALTEX) said they will hike prices of per liter of gasoline by P0.30, diesel by P0.25, and kerosene by P0.30.

Cleanfuel, PTT Philippines, and Petro Gazz also announced the implementation of the same adjustments except for kerosene which they do not carry.

The price hike will take effect on Tuesday, July 28.

Other oil firms have yet to make announcements for the price increase.

The increase in oil prices follows the rollback implemented for gasoline last week.

MANILA, Philippines – Local pump prices of petroleum products will be adjusted anew this week, oil firms announced Monday.

In separate advisories, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation and Seaoil said they will increase the price per liter of gasoline by P0.45, diesel by P0.30, and kerosene by P0.40.

Cleanfuel and PetroGazz also said they will implement the same price changes except for kerosene which they do not carry.

The oil firms said the price adjustments will take effect on Tuesday, January 5.

Other oil companies have yet to announce any price movement for the week.

Last week, oil companies implemented a rollback on fuel prices.

Oil price hike set for Tuesday, Dec. 22

MANILA, Philippines – Local pump prices of petroleum products will increase anew this week, oil companies announced Monday.

In an advisory, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. said it will hike prices per liter of gasoline by P0.75, diesel by P0.85, and kerosene by P0.80.

In separate announcements, Petro Gazz and Cleanfuel said they will implement the same amount of price adjustments except for kerosene, which they do not carry.

The price hike will take effect on Tuesday, December 22.

Other oil firms have yet to make similar announcements.

This is the fourth consecutive week of hikes for gasoline and seventh for both diesel and kerosene.

Oil price hike set on December 15

Oil companies have announced an oil price hike that will take effect on Tuesday (December 15).

In separate advisories, Shell, Clean Fuel, and Petro Gazz announced that they will increase their gas prices by P0.50 per liter and P0.60 per liter for diesel.

Meanwhile, Shell will also up their Kerosene prices by P0.55.

Shell and Petro Gazz will implement the price hike at 6:00 a.m., while Clean Fuel will implement the price hike at 4:00 p.m.

The Department of Energy (DOE) report said gasoline prices have increased by P3.47 per liter as of December 1. Diesel prices, on the other hand, increased by P7.76 per liter and kerosene prices went up by P11.19. —AAC
