Oil prices to go down this week

(UPDATE) Several local oil companies have announced a new round of price reductions on pump products this week to reflect world market prices.

In an advisory, oil industry players said the price of gasoline will be slashed by P0.90 per liter, while diesel and kerosene prices will go down by P0.80 a liter.

The oil price rollback will take effect on Tuesday, May 7.

Petro Gazz has implemented the same amount of fuel price cut on Monday, May 6, while Seaoil and Phoenix Petroleum slashed their prices over the weekend.

This is the first time that gasoline prices have decreased after four straight weeks.

MANILA, Philippines — Local pump prices of petroleum products will be slashed this week, oil companies announced.

In separate advisories, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and Seaoil Philippines Inc. said they will roll back the prices of their gasoline by P0.25 per liter and kerosene by P0.10.

Diesel prices, on the other hand, will remain unchanged.

Cleanfuel and Petro Gazz will also implement the same price adjustments, except for kerosene which they do not carry.

The oil price decrease will take effect on Tuesday, April 13.

MANILA, Philippines – Local pump prices of petroleum products will be rolled back this week following last week’s price increase, oil firms said.

In separate advisories, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and Seaoil announced they will slash the prices per liter of kerosene by P0.45 and diesel by P0.35.

The price of gasoline will not be changed.

Cleanfuel and Petro Gazz also said they will implement the same price adjustment except for kerosene which they do not carry.

The oil price reduction will take effect on Tuesday, March 23.

Other oil companies have yet to make similar announcements.

In separate advisories, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and Seaoil Philippines Inc. said they will roll back the price per liter of gasoline by P0.10, diesel by P0.35, and kerosene by P0.55.

Cleanfuel and Petro Gazz also announced the same price adjustment except for kerosene which they do not carry.

The oil price cut will take effect on Tuesday, March 9.

Other oil firms have yet to make similar announcements.
