Oil price hike set Tuesday, March 26

MANILA, Philippines – The price of gasoline is expected to increase by 65 centavos per liter while diesel and kerosene will have an additional 10 centavos per liter starting 6:00 a.m. Tuesday (March 26).

Among the first to announce the price hike are Shell, Eastern Petroleum and PTT Philippines.

Other local oil companies are expected to follow suit.

So far this year, oil prices have had a net increase of P8.99 per liter for gasoline; P6.99 per liter for diesel; and P4.67 per liter for kerosene.  – Marje Pelayo

Oil price hike April 6

MANILA, Philippines — Oil companies imposed a fuel price hike effective today (April 6).

At 12:01 a.m. today, Caltex added 65 centavos to a liter of gasoline and five centavos to a liter of diesel.

The company did not make any adjustment on the price of its kerosene.

Other oil companies Shell, Petron, Seaoil, and Flying V also adopted similar price hikes on gasoline and diesel which took effect at 6:00 a.m. today.

Said oil firms, meanwhile, adjusted their respective prices to additional five centavos per liter of kerosene.

Said price adjustment was also adopted by Unioil, Petro Gazz, Phoenix Petroleum, PTT, and Total Philippines.

Cleanfuel, meanwhile, will have the same adjustment taking effect at 4:00 p.m. today except for diesel.

Gasoline, kerosene price changes set for Tuesday, February 2

MANILA, Philippines – Local pump prices of gasoline and kerosene will be adjusted anew this week, oil firms announced on Monday.

In separate advisories, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and Seaoil Philippines Inc. said they will increase the price per liter of gasoline by P0.25 and slash that of kerosene by P0.25. No price change will be imposed on diesel.

Petro Gazz also said it will implement the same price change except for kerosene which it does not carry.

The price adjustment will take effect on Tuesday, February 2.

Cleanfuel, on the other hand, announced that the prices of its petroleum products will remain unchanged for the week.

Other oil companies have yet to make similar announcements.

Meanwhile, Petron announced it adjusted the prices of its liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and AutoLPG products.

Effective February 1, Petron increased its LPG price by P2.96/kilogram, and AutoLPG by P1.66 a liter.

“These reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of February,” it said.
