MANILA, Philippines – Nagpatupad ng big time rollback sa presyo ng mga produktong petrolyo ang ilang kumpanya ng langis.

Simula kahapon (Linggo), binawasan ng Petron at Seaoil ng P1.20 ang presyo ng kada litro ng kanilang gasolina; habang P1.40 sa diesel at P1.60 sa kerosene.

Nagpatupad rin ng kaparehong halaga ng rollback sa kerosene at diesel ang kumpanyang Ptt Philippines at Shell, habang P1.10 ang ibinawas sa gasolina.

Nagtapyas naman ang Flying-V ng P1.40 sa presyo ng kanilang gasolina, habang P1.60 sa biodiesel.

Samantala, ala-sais ng umaga kanina ay humabol ang kumpanyang Phoenix Petroleum na nagbawas ng P1.55 sa bawat litro ng diesel, habang P1.20 naman sa gasolina. (UNTV News)

Oil price rollback to happen next week

Oil companies will be implementing a price rollback on petroleum products next week.

Oil industry players have estimated a 10 to 25 centavos per liter reduction in the price per liter of diesel and 60 to 80 centavos per liter on gasoline.

This is the 3rd week in a row that oil companies have implemented a price cut on petroleum products.

Oil companies have implemented a price rollback on petroleum products.

Industry players said prices of diesel will be reduced by one peso and 10 centavos per liter, while gasoline will have a fifty-centavo cut price.

Kerosene, on the other hand, will have a Php1.30 per liter price rollback.

Phoenix Petroleum, Clean Fuel, and Seaoil were the first ones to reduce the price of their oil products during the weekend.

Big-time players Shell, Petron and Caltex will implement the price cut tomorrow.

The price reduction is due to the movement of oil prices in the world market. /mbmf

Oil price rollback set next week

Oil companies are set to implement an oil price rollback starting next week.

According to industry players, there will be a possible P1.20 per liter rollback in diesel prices while P0.50 per liter rollback in gasoline prices.

The rollback is due to the fuel price movement in the world market.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday (Aug 7) prices of auto LPG also dropped by P1.00 per liter.—AAC (with reports from Mon Jocson)
