MANILA, Philippines — Applications for new registration of sold motorcycles and motor vehicles received on or before April 30 have been processes and released to the dealers.
LTO-7 Regional Director Victor Emmanuel Caindec explained that if the dealer submitted the complete documents and processed the payments of the customer’s purchased motorcycle or motor vehicle before April 30, 2021, “then your Original Certificate of Registration (CR) and Official Receipt (OR) has been released and already in the dealer’s possession.”
As of May 10, New Registration Unit (NRU) has released a total of 14,409 motorcycles and motor vehicle OR/CR for April; 15,290 for March; 12,773 for February; and 11,369 for January.
Caindec also reminded the public to never accept non-original documents from their dealers.
Meanwhile, Caindec also announced that the regional office has been receiving plate numbers for Central Visayas from its Central Office that were registered since January 2018. AAC
MANILA, Philippines – Motorists with vehicle plate numbers ending in 1 can rest easy for now as the Land Transportation Office (LTO) extended the validity of their registration until February 15.
The LTO said the grace period is enough for motorists to process their renewal of registration until the new deadline to avoid hassles in the future.

The DOTr also reminds the public to always refer to official government websites and social media accounts. The department also warned not to provide information to unverified accounts or individuals and immediately report suspicious websites or individuals to the authorities. AAC
