LPG prices up by P2.00 to P2.35/kg

MANILA, Philippines – Oil companies announced a belt-tightening price hike on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) on Monday (October 1).

Petron Gasul imposed a P2.35 per kilogram or P26 pesos increase on each 11-kilogram cylinder of LPG.

The company also announced a P1.30 per liter price increase on auto-LPG.

Meanwhile, Solane gas on Monday also added P2.11 in each kilogram of LPG or P23.21 for each 11-kilogram tank.

The Eastern Petroleum added P2.30 for each kilogram of EC Gas or equivalent to P25.30 for each 11-kilogram cylinder of LPG.

Industry players say prices of other petroleum products are also expected to increase this week with prices of gasoline likely to shoot up by P1.30  to P1.40 per liter and around P0.90 to P1.10 per liter on diesel. – UNTV News and Rescue


LPG prices to go up beginning March 1

MANILA, Philippines – Consumers will have to shell out more money as prices of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) go up beginning Friday, March 1.

In an advisory, Petron Corp. announced it will hike the prices of its LPG products by P2.90 per kilogram amid rising contract prices in the world market.

Petron’s AutoLPG price will also increase by P1.65 per liter.

Solane, on the other hand, will hike its cooking gas price by P2.60 per kilogram.

Other local LPG suppliers are expected to make similar upward adjustments in their product prices. – Robie de Guzman

LPG prices to drop by P5.00/kg effective Dec. 1

MANILA, Philippines – Prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) are expected to go down by P5.00/kg starting December 1.

This means that consumers will be able to save P55.00 for every 11kg LPG cylinder.

According to industry players, the price reduction is in line with the increase in oil supply in the world market. – UNTV News and Rescue


P7.00 price rollback on LPG takes effect Nov. 1

MANILA, Philippines – The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) dropped after oil firms decided on a big-time price rollback on Thursday (November 1).

Oil company Petron imposed a P7.50/kg price cut on its Gasul and Fiesta Gas effective 12:01 a.m. Thursday. At the same time, Petron cut its AutoLPG prices by P4.20/liter.

The same price rollback was imposed by Phoenix Philippines while Solane-branded LPG slashed P7.46/kg

This is equivalent to P82 to P83 drop in prices for a standard 11kg cylinder tank. – UNTV News and Rescue
