Fuel, LPG prices are up this week

Fuel and Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) prices are up starting this week.

Based on oil companies, LPG prices will go up from P0.50 to P1.00 due to the oil price movement in the world market as well as the peso-dollar exchange rate.

Aside from LPG prices, oil prices also soared on Tuesday (April 30). Gasoline prices are up by P.075 per liter, diesel by P0.80 per liter, and kerosene by P0.90 per liter.

Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp., Total, PTT Philippines, PetroGazz, and Seaoil already implemented the price hike at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday while the rest of the oil companies are expected to follow.—Aileen Cerrudo (with reports from Joan Nano)

Big time oil price cut set for March 24

MANILA, Philippines – Oil companies on Monday announced another round of fuel price rollback to reflect the adjustments in the international oil market.

In separate advisories, Petron Corporation, Chevron Philippines Inc. (Caltex), and Flying V said they will slash the prices of gasoline and kerosene by P3.50 per liter, and diesel by P2.00.

PTT Philippines and Seaoil also announced the implementation of the same amount of price rollbacks.

The fuel price decrease will take effect on March 24, Tuesday.

This is the second week that oil firms implemented hefty price cuts.

The drop in local pump prices was triggered by the decline of prices in the world market.

Oil price hike looms this week

Oil companies are set to implement price adjustments beginning Tuesday (February 25).

Based on Shell’s advisory, their diesel, gasoline, and kerosene prices will go up by P0.20/liter, P0.30/liter, and P0.35/liter respectively. The said prices will be effective on Tuesday at 6:00 a.m.

Petro Gazz will also implement the same price hike on their diesel (P0.20/liter), and gasoline (P0.30/liter).

Meanwhile, Cleanfuel is set to implement their price adjustments on Wednesday (February 26) at 12:01 a.m. Their diesel price will be up by P0.20/liter while gasoline price will increase by P0.30/liter.—AAC

Oil price adjustments expected this week

Oil companies will implement oil price adjustments starting Tuesday (February 18).

Effective on Tuesday at 6:00 a.m., gasoline prices of Shell and Seaoil will be up by P0.35/liter while kerosene and diesel prices will be both be reduced by P0.10/liter.

Petrogazz will have similar price adjustments for gasoline and diesel, also effective by Tuesday.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday (February 19) at 12:01 a.m., Cleanfuel will adjust their gasoline and diesel prices by P0.35/liter and P0.10/liter, respectively.—AAC (with reports from Grace Casin)
