DFA office in Cubao closed for one-day disinfection

MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) advised the public to defer visits to its Consular Office in NCR Northeast (Ali Mall Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City) as it is closed on Wednesday (July 15).
The temporary closure is to give way for the disinfection of the office premises and implementation of other preventive measures to manage and prevent risks against coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The Consular Office will resume its operations the following day, Thursday, 16 July.
Affected applicants who have prior appointments and schedules today will be accommodated until August 14 during regular office hours.
The DFA requests the public’s understanding and cooperation as the country continues to battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The measure is part of the Department’s assessment of public health and safety regulations currently in place.
After 48 hours of assessment, the Department will make another announcement on whether it will reopen soon.
The DFA, however, advised the public that the agency’s Consular Office in ASEANA and all other Consular Offices will remain open for service, in accordance with their publicized operating hours.
