A relief from inflation? P2.00/L price rollback on gasoline likely next week

MANILA, Philippines – A big-time price rollback in oil products is expected next week.

The price of gasoline is projected to drop by P2.00 per liter while the price of diesel is projected to go down by P1.00 per liter based on the results from the previous four-day trading in the world market.

If it pushes through, it will be the second week of price cut on oil prices by oil industry players. – UNTV News and Rescue

Oil companies to drop prices beginning June 12

MANILA, Philippines – After two weeks of consecutive big-time price hikes on fuel, oil companies will impose a price rollback beginning tomorrow, June 12 at 6:00 a.m.

Shell and Petron gasoline stations confirmed their price markdown of P0.55 per liter of gasoline and diesel while kerosene is at P0.60 per liter.

The price rollback is due to the increase in supply and adjustments in prices of oil in the world market. – UNTV News & Rescue
