Balicasag Island is one of the best dive sites in the Philippines for having a diverse marine ecosystem. The island is confined by gleaming sea water that holds an impressive and fascinating collection of coral reefs and sponges. Plunging into Balicasag’s underwater adventure will take you to ancient sea turtles and schools of Jack Fish, Scribbled File Fish, Trumpet Fish and Juvenile Box Fish gracefully dancing in the water, ushering divers into their world.

Walk along the shore and relish the experience of stepping on powder white sand while enjoying a view of the horizon where the sky merges into the pristine waters. Balicasag Island is located in the southern part of Bohol’s main island. To get there you may take a three-hour flight from Manila to Tagbilaran, followed by land travel to Panglao Island where you can book an exciting boat ride accompanied by dolphins on your way to Balicasag.

Brush up on your diving skills because this is one top bucket list destination you will regret missing.
