BREAD N’ BUTTER is your business & travel show which focuses on leisure, earning & learning! It features different businesses, entrepreneur, jobs and destinations which gives awareness and inspires viewers to try to put up their own business and help create more jobs and opportunities for Filipinos. It promotes entrepreneurial spirit among Filipinos which is what the nation needs in the midst of global competition. Watching the program will make you realize that talking business can also be fun and interesting to be ventured. Hosted by Rodel Flordeliz, Kitt Meily and Arlene Razon.
Bread n’ Butter or BNB is fit for male and female between 20 to 45 years old, who are into business, looking for jobs or finding the perfect industry to venture into, and people who are into traveling and looking for alternative destination spots.
Time Slot: Tuesday, 5:00 – 6:00 pm (replay – Saturday 5:30 am)
Segments:
1. BREAD WINNER – is a three-minute segment featuring “just starting” or “already established” businesses that may encourage aspiring entrepreneurs.
2. FOOD TRIP – focuses on restaurants that families may want to try on weekends. Served in hot plates, featured cuisines in this segment may fill anybody’s gastronomic needs to satisfaction. Food trip also aims to give viewers an eye view on the “must do” things if they want to be in food business.
3. KINACAREER KO TO! – is a segment featuring odd jobs. Here, hosts are challenged to try the job themselves.
4. NO MONKEY BUSINESS – a short skit highlighting problems that businessmen usually encounters. A resource person is invited to “professionally” explain how to resolve the problem. Viewer participation is encouraged thru email.
5. YAN ANG PINOY! Walastik! Fantastik! -- is a segment that aims to promote Filipino ingenuity thru a tie up with the Filipino Inventors Society and the Filipino Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
6. BREAD N BUTTERHOOD - on-air instructional business and livelihood tips and projects. Topics include soap and shampoo making, manufacturing of handicrafts, and processed food business.
8. A-AGRI KA! -is a segment on agriculture. A-Agri Ka aims to help government bring back the glorious days of agriculture in our country by encouraging viewers to try their luck on agriculture businesses.
11. MAS-MURA-SAN - cool finds, unique and most of all the cheapest in the market, segment hosts roam around the Metro wearing fashionable kimono and speaking like Japanese when interviewing shop owners and buyers making the segment more interesting and funny for the viewers.
12. BUSINESS JARGONS– definition of words that are usually used in business.
BREAD N’ BUTTER will be in different locations in the country (some out of the country) to promote our tourism in hope to get the support of the Department of Tourism in the future, and the business opportunities these places can offer.
