Munting Pangarap, one of UNTV’s flagship public service shows, is a one-hour program hosted by Daniel Razon, the veteran broadcast journalist who is also known as Mr. Public Service. Translated in English as, “Small Wish,” the show is about extending a hand to those in need – with the aim of changing their lives not just on a one-time basis, but on a long-term one.
The brainchild of Daniel Razon himself, Munting Pangarap, aims to help the needy with their small wishes, whether in the form of a small business, medical assistance, and other meek requests of the heart. Munting Pangarap opens the eye of the public to the heart-aching realities of our countrymen, and to the fact that there are still goodhearted individuals willing to make even the simplest of wishes come true.
Beneficiaries of Munting Pangarap come from all sectors of the country and abroad of different races, religions, and cultural backgrounds.
Originally a segment of the morning program, Good Morning, Kuya!, UNTV sees the need to provide a longer time slot for the program in order to show people how much the public service channel cares for the marginalized by teaching them to help themselves with some small capital to start with.
