KNC Show, the only program at UNTV geared for children, aims to promote positive values and lessons based on the Bible through segments and features that will appeal to kids between 7 to 12 years old. The 30-minute values education program dedicated for kids is one-of-a-kind in Philippine television for its fresh and original approach in honing the future generation of citizens of the land – to be God-fearing and responsible.
KNC stands for Kawan ng Cordero or Little Lambs.
To make the show interesting and appealing to children, the show tackles kid situations and interests like the arts, sports, science and math, storytelling and the like.
In Bible Story, a storyteller, Lola Ising, reads Bible stories to impart the lessons about biblical history and different biblical characters that children can relate to. The subject of science and the Bible is the focus of KNC Explorer, a segment that teaches children that science is a branch of knowledge that can prove the reliability and authenticity of the Bible as a source of information about the existence of God.
Other key segments of the show include Arts and Kids, Sports, Verse of the Day, Bible Trivia, Balitang Bata, Itanong mo sa Bata, Ang Galing Mo Bata, and Tama o Mali.
With KNC Show, it is the belief of the show's producers that by training children at an early age of the good, positive values like appreciating and enjoying reading the Bible, the same will grow spiritually-mature and ready to face the harsh realities of adult life.
