Guiness, Animal Planet, National Geographic, Ripley’s, Exposed and reality shows…pretty tough. But it’s not only that…newspapers, magazine, internet articles, as well as surfing net…no wonder Rodel is a silent sleek. Quiet he may be, his friends know for sure that there’s a lot going on in Rodel’s mind.

Definitely a music lover, Rodel likes alternative rock and mellow music. His favorite Pinoy bands are E-heads, Rivermaya, Bamboo, Sugarfree, and Imago.

In the entertainment industry, Rodel started in Teleskwela as a kiddie show host.  Later on, he became a field reporter with the then Ito Ang Balita. Success may have come to him at an early time, but as surprising as it may sound, like many other achievers, Rodel remains timid about it. He still at times doubts his confidence and capability.

This may be the secret why he has that keen eye for quality and never ceases to strive for excellence. Great as it may seem, but the Rodel inside has the simplest of goals – to be in a commercial and have his face on a billboard along Edsa.
