Peter Ledesma

One of the most esteemed writers of showbiz news in the Philippines, Peter is a publicist of TAPE Inc., a columnist and contributor for Philippine tabloids and magazines like Philippine Star, Remate, People’s Tonite, Kislap, Movie Star and Intrigue. He is also a veteran host in DZAR, formerly DZAM, for the program Happy Company, which is now entitled, Ano Ba Yan? What more can you ask for from Peter Ledesma? A man of many talents, though unknown to many, is in real life is a very humble person.

His life as a writer has always been complying with deadlines, but this happy person could never be seen weary or haggard, as he is always fresh especially in delivering the hottest issues in the showbiz industry. His signature laughter should have been the secret, the giggles so contagious that people cannot miss.

Born in General Santos City, he had established most of his career in his hometown. After he taking up Business Management in Mindanao State University, he worked in DXCP, the number AM station in General Santos. He was a host of Baby’s Taurus Delight for fire years. Later on, he hosted a musical program called the Musical Extravaganza in the same radio station.

With the earnest desire to explore the many opportunities in Manila, he soon found his chance when he joined the Search for Movie Star Reporter for the Regal Family in 1989, a show produced by Mother Lily Monteverde. He won first runner up and this title had paved the way to the very career he once dreamed and now enjoys.
