Born and raised in Naga City, Bicol, he was a graduate of Business Administration Major in Accounting from Ateneo de Naga City. His earliest broadcast hosting experience was in DZMM for almost a year in a radio program, Intregera Usisera, with Ruth Abao Espinosa and Edinel Calvario.  Being a drama talent in Bombo Radio while he was in college is what he considers his foundation.
